The Workaholics Anonymous study book, the Book of Discovery, is a guide to Twelve Step writing and reflection published in Fall 2009. It provides Step instruction, questions, activities, thought-provoking stories written by members of our fellowship, and readings from W.A. and A.A. literature. By giving readers the space to write and the time to reflect, the Book of Discovery delivers an alternative to our tendency of hyper-rationalization. The book includes both resources and content about each Step as well as questions and activities for W.A. members to answer. Individuals and groups can use the Book of Discovery as a reading and topic source. It can also galvanize interactive writing and sharing experiences for groups. Our hope is that recovering workaholics will be sparked to take a new look at the Steps and how they can be navigated to a healthier, awakened, and lighter life.
You can order the Book of Discovery online in print or Kindle ebook.
