W.A. Conferences
Workaholics Anonymous World Service holds an international conference every one to two years so that members can share their experience, strength, and hope. Newcomers are welcome—for some this is the first opportunity to meet face to face with other recovering workaholics.

What Happens at a W.A. Conference?
Conferences are a time to connect with fellow recovering workaholics. In a retreat-like setting, together we work the Steps, learn about Tools and Principles, develop abstinence plans, and enjoy free time for relaxation, nature, and fellowship. Some people find or meet with sponsors. There is usually a silent auction fundraiser for World Service and at least one break that involves group frisbee. Often there are optional meditation times in the morning and "night owl" candle light meetings.
At the conferences, there are often also meetings for family and friends of workaholics through the fellowship of Work-Anon. Historical archives of some speakers and shares from past conferences are available.
